Since EMT is offered in both the Fall and Spring, the courses above can be taken in either semester. All EMT classes (EMS 110, EMS 115, EMS 118, EMS 120) must be taken and completed in one semester.  All of these classes must be completed with a grade of 80% or higher and students must pass the final FISDAP exam with a 76% or higher to be eligible to take the National Registry Examination for Emergency Medical Technician.

A GPA of 2.0 must be earned on all EMS classes and a cumulative GPA of 2.0 must be maintained in order to continue in the program.

This degree option is available for students pursuing an Associate in Applied Science degree without prior coursework in EMT.
