Bismarck State College in compliance with federal regulations issued by the U.S. Department of Education makes available or distributes the following information to all students, employees, prospective students, and prospective employees.
Campus Safety and Security
The Campus Security and Fire Safety Report is provided annually. The purpose of the report is to provide notice of the campus crime prevention programs, crime reporting procedures, missing student notification policy and procedures, timely warning and emergency notifications, and a three year statistical history of criminal activity. A copy of the Campus Security and Fire Safety Report is published and updated annually on the BSC website. A paper copy is available upon request from the Security Office: Bismarck State College, Security Office, P.O. Box 5587, Bismarck, ND 58506-5587.
Drug-Free Workplace and School
The purpose of these acts is to set forth the college policy regarding alcohol and other drug use, including unlawful drug use or abuse in the workplace and the institution’s program to prevent drug and alcohol abuse by its students and employees in accordance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 (Public Law 100-690) and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Amendments of 1989 (Public Law 101-226). Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act
The purpose of this policy is to disclose athletic participation rates and financial data related to athletics. In addition the report provides information on graduation and completion rates for student athletes. Equity and athletic data is available at ope.ed.gov/athletics. Student Completion, Graduation and Transfer Rates
