UAS 101. Pilot Ground School

The course will provide the FAA's background requirement and working knowledge in subject areas, including aeronautical decision-making, aircraft performance, weather, navigation, flight planning, and aviation regulations leading to pilot certification. Individuals that already possess the FAA 107c license may seek a prior learning assessment to receive credit for this course.
UAS 105. Introduction to Unmanned Aerial Systems

The course covers the foundation of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Topics will include the history of UAS, classes, UAS systems, the regulations, regulations governing UAS, industry and societal implications, mission planning basics, types of sensors, and a hands-on experience with the components required to operate a small UAS.
UAS 110. Image Analysis and Visualization

Typically Offered: FASPSU
This course will develop image analysis skills that will allow students to create 3-D visualization for 3-D modeling. These visualizations are used to analyze the subjects of the imagery acquired using Unmanned Aerial Systems.
