Environmental and Safety Regulations

Program Description

The certificate is designed to provide working energy industry personnel the knowledge necessary to function in roles that involve safety and environmental oversight. Upon completion, learners will be able to identify, evaluate, and solve potential problems including workplace safety, government regulations, public health policies, and federal/state laws. 

The short-term certificate in Environmental and Safety Regulations offers a stackable credential option to current and past BSC students who are working in or pursing high-demand energy careers and want additional knowledge and skills in both OSHA and Environmental Regulations.

Program Requirements

Students who complete the curriculum requirements receive a Program Certificate in Environmental and Safety Regulations. The courses within the certificate lead directly into the Bachelor of Applied Science in Energy Management degree.

Career Opportunities

The Program Certificate in Environmental and Safety Regulations was developed in response to the modern regulatory business environment creating the need for employees to be knowledgeable in both OSHA and Environmental Regulations. Many employers encourage continued education for industry employees who want to be considered for environmental and safety positions within their organization.
