Offensive and Defensive Security

Program Description

Offensive and Defensive Security courses cover digital forensics as well as firewall configuration and management. The goal is to prepare learners by providing theory and extended configuration features necessary to set up traffic handling, advanced content/user identification, quality of service, global protection, monitoring/reporting, and high availability of next-generation firewall technologies. Lastly, network penetration testing will be examined, allowing students to apply cybersecurity offense and defense skills.

The Program Certificate in Offensive and Defensive Security is a great way to improve your career trajectory. You may choose from online and on-campus course delivery options. This flexibility allows you to complete coursework at your convenience and on your schedule.

Students enrolling in this certificate must have a strong knowledge in computer networking, Linux, and MS Windows. Students are encouraged to have at minimum an associate degree in cyber security or a related field.
