Students seeking a pathway into such career fields as arts administration, nonprofit fund raising & development, or venue & talent management will benefit from the Applied Arts Certificate. This is one of three stackable certificates toward an AAS in Arts Entrepreneurship & Management. Introducing the basic aspects of music appreciation, drawing, painting, acting, and theatre arts, the Applied Arts Certificate will be a first step in forging a career in a variety of arts-related fields. Students will have a capstone course in a path of their choosing, where they will gain hands-on experiences in areas such as theatre, music, art, or arts management.
